David and Melanie Sgro are Missionaries to the Indigenous Mayans in Central Guatemala and the Philippines. In Guatemala, they built their first Church in 2021. In July 2023 they started their first karate school and are currently working on opening VECA (Victory Entrepreneurial Christian Academy). VECA is a Christian School 7 - 12th grade that will focus on the extreme poor to provide an education that gives the students a vocation upon graduation in 12th grade. All students will receive Christian Education. Vocations include:
1. Continuing Christian Education for those who wish to become a Pastor, Church Planter or Missionary
2. Karate Teacher/Karate School Owner
3. Restaurant worker/ Owner
4. Tourism and Hotel worker
5. Seamstress
6. Business Ownership
7. College

David and Melanie also lead mission trips and visit Churches to Preach and Karate School to teach and raise missionary support.
